最多可以建立 31 個虛擬 CD&DVD-ROM，模擬 200X 光碟讀取速度，支援多種光碟燒錄方式：Session-At-Once、Disc-At-Once、RAW Session- At-Once、RAW Session- At-Once + SUB、RAW Disc- At-Once (with full PQ/R-W sub-code support)。
對於 New Securom 等新版加入基於壓製光碟與燒錄光碟不同的防拷機制，增加了 DPM(Data Position Measurement function) 的模擬功能，使新版的 MDS 檔包含新的防拷資料並支援支持最新的藍光格式和HD DVD（單，雙層）與所有的Windows 32位和64位操作系統到Windows 7。
